As far as your comment on the "not writing about a topic and therefore not knowing about" it is all relative for sure. From my perspective, if you start to blog consistently you should within 2- 3 years be able to cover most topics that interest a potential client that relate to real estate in your area such as...all areas you work in, all neighborhoods, homes with views, oceanfront etc. What you said is true that you can't cover everything, but I think you should be able to cover most important topics and insight for potential clients after a few years of good effort in posting.
