Another year gone and all of us another year older.  Good and bad I guess. 

Here are the final year end statistics for single family homes sales in Santa Barbara proper for 2010.

1) Overall there were a total of 440 Closed Sales (reported by the Santa Barbara MLS) of single family homes.

2) These 440 sales are a little more than in 2009 where we had a total of 388 Closed Sales of single family homes.

3) The lowest sale was a Bank Owned Fixer on 231 Cottage Grove Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93101 that sold for $275,000.

4) The highest sale was a 1929 restored Reginald Johnson Spanish Colonial home located at 1915 Las Tunas Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93103.  This beautiful home sold for $7,600,000.

5) As far as price points go, 61% of the sales in Santa Barbara were below $1 million, 31% of the sales were from $1 to $2 million and 8% of sales were above the $2 million price point here in Santa Barbara proper.
